This is a DIY guide with a recipe for essential oil aromatherapy shower steamers. These are made to fizz on the shower floor as an aromatherapy tool. Steamers release the essential oils into the steam of your shower like a diffuser. While similar in composition, these aren't to be used as bath bombs because the menthol crystals used in some of them can burn sensitive parts & because essential oil usage rate is lower for skin contact products like bath bombs than for aromatherapy shower steamers.

Ingredients you will need to make these: baking soda, citric acid, sea salt, cream of tartar, bentonite or kaolin clay, mica or lake dyes, a light oil like sunflower or any inexpensive oil of your choosing, polysorbate 80, 50% rubbing alcohol or vodka, SLSa (only a little for the toilet bomb), menthol crystals (for a couple of the aroma recipes) a variety of essential oils for the recipe blends. (Or you can make up your own if you're familiar with essential oil blending.)
My 10 essential oil blends use the following: eucalyptus, cinnnamon leaf, clove bud, lemon, 5x orange, tangerine, rose geranium, lime, frankincense, roman chamomile, bergamot, ylang-ylang, lavender, rosemary, sandalwood, peppermint.
